Woods Yard is a neighbourhood wine and espresso bar located in a quiet Eastern Road strip, close to Albert Park Lake. Opened in 2020 by brothers Kris and Aaron Wood, the venue has quickly earned a reputation for its modern, stylish yet relaxed setting.
The interior, crafted by designer Rylie Fitzgerald, features marble, timber, moody lighting, and rows of organic wine bottles, a cosy, ambient space that transitions well from day to night.
By day: a standout espresso bar serving high-quality coffee and gourmet sandwiches (like roast chicken, brisket or porchetta) as well as brunch on weekends.
By night: a natural wine bar focusing on biodynamic, organic and skin-contact wines. The wine list changes regularly, with bottles ranging up to $200 US, plus local craft beers, natural wine by glass or bottle, and occasional cocktails.
