This music bar is located at street level in the heritage-listed Northcote Theatre. Expect red-tinged, intimate bar spaces and creative, music-driven energy woven into its architecture and design.

Brought to life by music collective Crown Ruler along with Umut Turkeri (of Hope Audio) and James Clarke (Bolster Group), High Note is conceived as more than a bar, it’s a community-first creative space.

Pairs a music bar with a multi-functional room for live performances, workshops, exhibitions, listening parties, and artist meetups.

Aims to nurture connection, creative exchange, and accessibility for local artists while serving as an atmospheric venue for music lovers.

There are two rooms:

• One functions as the main wine & cocktail bar, with folding windows, a long wooden counter, and indie art adorning the walls.
• The other is a flexible creative space—ideal for intimate gigs, record fairs, art exhibitions, workshops, or artist talks.

Offers a curated list of Australian beers and wines, thoughtful cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, yes, including quirky choices like Pocari Sweat.

Snack offerings include charcuterie, oysters, and rotating bar bites or pop-up food collaborations from neighbouring venues.
