At Bar 303, you will find the intimate vibe, the back band room setup, and live music atmosphere.

Established in 2000 by duo Jack Moynihan and Tom Abud, transforming a former butcher’s shop into an arts-focused café turned live music venue.

Divided into two main areas:

Front Bar: A glass-fronted, intimate space with a long curved wooden bar, vintage 1960s Hammond organ and Leslie speaker, perfect for acoustic and jazz performances.
Band Room: A sloped floor leading to the main stage with upgraded sound gear, ideal for live gigs and comedy nights.

Music Events

A cornerstone of Northcote’s live music scene, from jazz, dub grooves, electro beats to open jam sessions.

Hosts special residencies like the “Hammond Sessions”, Bohjass jasshuB, and diverse jazz/electronica acts.
