Leongatha
Leongatha is a town in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. It is located on the South Gippsland Highway, approximately 150 km south-east of Melbourne. The most important landmark in Leongatha is the Leongatha War Memorial, which was built in 1921 to commemorate the fallen soldiers of World War I. There are no casinos near Leongatha.
Leongatha has two RSL clubs, the Leongatha RSL and the South Gippsland RSL. The Leongatha Bowling Club is also located in the town. There are several licenced pubs with poker machines, keno and TAB in Leongatha, including the Commercial Hotel, the Grand Hotel and the Leongatha Hotel. The total number of poker machines in Leongatha is limited to a maximum of 40, as per local regulations.
Leongatha has several great bistros to eat, including the Grand Hotel Bistro, the Commercial Hotel Bistro and the Leongatha Hotel Bistro. All three bistros offer a wide range of delicious meals and drinks.
