Established in 1910–11, O’Mara’s was erected on the site of the original Sportsman’s Arms Hotel (dating back to 1873) after fire destroyed the earlier building. The proprietor, Michael?Mara, later became Michael?O’Mara, and the current name was adopted.

It is a lively country pub nestled in Stanthorpe, in Queensland’s Granite Belt.

Retains its century-old charm: stained-glass windows, open fireplaces, decorative timber, and a classic two?storey veranda—an iconic landmark in Stanthorpe.
