Longreach
Longreach is a town in Central West Queensland, Australia. It is the administrative centre of the Longreach Region. The town is located on the banks of the Thomson River, approximately 700 kilometres from the coast, west of Rockhampton. The town is a popular tourist destination, with attractions such as the Qantas Founders Museum, the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame, and the School of Distance Education.
Longreach is home to a number of casinos, RSL clubs, legions clubs, bowling clubs, sports bars and licenced pubs with poker machines, keno and tab.
