Since reopening in 2023, The Commercial Hotel Merredin—locally known as “The Commie”—has established itself as the community’s favourite place for a family-friendly night out. Beautifully refurbished and with more improvements to come, The Commie feels fresh and inviting while maintaining its historical charm and character.
Try the bar, the first dining room, or our beer garden for something upbeat. The second dining room or the family area are quieter and more laid back. For something more private, try the “red room”.
The sports bar is where you can watch live sports on big screens and bet at the TAB counter.
