Baroq House is Melbourne’s opulent laneway multi-level venue. Nestled in a 19th-century cobblestone laneway, this heritage-listed mansion spans three levels, each dripping in Baroque-inspired decadence.

Inside, you'll find four distinct bars (including a whisky-focused level and the “Belvedere Bar”), plus multiple lounges, VIP booths, private rooms, a dancefloor with DJ booths, and even a stylish outdoor/smoking area.

A dramatic fusion of 17th-century Baroque grandeur and modern luxe—featuring gilded ceilings, plush leather or velvet banquettes, marble bars, reflective textures, and intricate sculptures (notably the myth-inspired Baucis & Philemon statue).

The entrance through grand gold doors beneath evocative sculptures sets the tone for the sensory-rich, “Eyes Wide Shut”–style atmosphere.

Bar and Events

• Focus on premium spirits: extensive whisky list (some up to AU$ 260 a nip), champagne (including Moët via vending machine!), cocktails, beers, and wines.
