The Lake Bolac Hotel & Brewery, located at 2127 Glenelg Highway in Lake Bolac, Victoria, is a historic establishment serving the community since 1856.

Originally built as a modest shanty by James Brown, it evolved into a wooden hotel and was later replaced in 1862 by the current bluestone structure. Over the years, the hotel has served various roles, including a church, a morgue, and a barber's shop, reflecting its central role in the community.

The public bar features an open fireplace, creating a cozy environment, while the entertainment area includes a pool table and jukebox. Two adjoining dining rooms provide spaces for meals and private functions.

The hotel also boasts a large covered outdoor beer garden and a newly added garden bar with festive lighting and a shipping container bar.

The old stables are currently being renovated into a performance space, enhancing the venue's entertainment offerings.

The hotel's menu showcases traditional country pub fare alongside chef specials, catering to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.

Special nights include Tuesday's $25 Parma Night and Wednesday's $30 Steak Night. On Fridays, guests can enjoy the "Jag the Joker" game and community raffle, while Sundays offer the full menu.

While the hotel aspires to establish an on-site microbrewery in the renovated bluestone stables, it currently offers its own beer label, the Bolac Beer, brewed offsite at Burra Brewing Co. in Korumburra.
