Roxby Downs
Roxby Downs is a town in South Australia. It is located in the Far North region of the state, about 590 km north of Adelaide. The town is known for its mining industry, and is home to the Olympic Dam Mine, one of the largest uranium and copper mines in the world. The town also has a number of other attractions, including the Roxby Downs Golf Course, the Roxby Downs Art Gallery, and the Roxby Downs Museum.
Roxby Downs does not have any casinos, but there are a number of RSL clubs, Legions Clubs, bowling clubs, sports bars and licenced pubs with poker machines, keno and TAB. The total number of poker machines in the town is limited to 50, in accordance with local regulations.
