Regatta Hotel is the iconic riverside pub in Toowong, Brisbane. The original hotel on the site dates to 1874, but the current three-storey brick building was constructed in 1886.

It’s a flagship example of Victorian filigree Queenslander architecture, featuring wide verandahs with ornate cast-iron trim facing the Brisbane River.

The Regatta is affectionately known as Brisbane’s “Grand Lady of the Brisbane River”, cherished by locals, students, and travellers alike for its charm and atmosphere.

What it offers

The Boatshed Restaurant serves a premium riverside dining experience with a two-metre flame grill, signature dry-aged steaks, seafood, and seasonal menus crafted under Head Chef Amy Baard.

Multiple venues within the complex include:

• Main Bar (the hotel’s largest, with 33 draught beers, 3 ciders on tap, and global craft brands).
