Established in February 1882 by former Cobb & Co coach driver Ned Murdock, serving early travelers and locals.
Owned at various times by the Tait and Donovan families, key figures in the region’s tourism and transport development. It offered transport link services from the Cooroy rail station to Tewantin as early as 1891.
