Established in 1863–1864, the site initially served as a Cobb & Co. mail stop and was Tambo’s first licensed hotel, named after the settlement "Carrangarra", an Aboriginal term meaning “feasting and resting place”.

- On-site restaurant & bar, serving meals nightly from approx. 6–1 2, featuring locally sourced meats from the neighbouring Tambo Butchery.
