This club is the cornerstone of fundraising and social arm supporting Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club on the Gold Coast.
Northcliffe SLSC began in February 1947, founded by six men, John Hurd, Keith Smythe, Pat Anderson, and others, branching from Broadbeach SLSC.
Over time, it evolved from a small patrol group into a nationally competitive surf life-saving club, boasting strong junior (450+ nippers) and senior membership (300+) and dominating Australian Point Score Championships since 2004.
Generates revenue via the licensed bar and bistro, with proceeds directly supporting patrol operations, training, clubhouse upkeep, and surf sports programming.
Offers gaming machines, event hosting, and membership benefits such as 10?% off food and drinks and entry into members-only draws.
Offers supporters club membership (around $10/year) with perks like discounts, prize draw entries, and exclusive offers.
