About Sarina Bowls Club Inc
Officially established on 13 November 1937, following earlier informal bowls activity in Sarina. The Ladies Bowls Club began in 1942.
- Offers two greens with both social and competitive bowls, including Pennant and casual sessions.
- Weekly play includes Men on Wednesdays, Ladies on Thursdays, and Mixed triples/jackpot bowls on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with varied dress codes: mufti or club uniform.
- The kitchen (run by “At Zelma’s”) serves lunch and dinner on selected days.
- Hosts regular Parmi Nights (Wednesdays), Friday night raffles with meat tray prizes and a members draw, plus live entertainment on some evenings.
- Includes a Kidz Korner for families, a spacious dining area, bar, gaming/Keno, courtesy bus, and undercover entertainment spaces.
- The gaming room has a few pokies machines to spin
- A sports bar is where you watch live sports on screens and bet at the TAB.
The membership fee is modest (around $5); open to the public, and actively encourages visitors.
