It is officially operating within the premises of Gaythorne RSL Club in Mitchelton, Brisbane.

The RSL is Australia's national veteran service organisation dedicated to supporting current and former Defence Force members and their families. It works through local sub?branches to provide welfare, advocacy, and community services.

Services are available to current and ex-serving ADF members and their families.

DVA claims assistance by trained advocates, welfare visits to veterans in hospitals or aged care, social support programs, and funeral poppy services when requested.

The Sub?Branch hosts a range of social clubs and community gatherings open to members.

You can find:

• Indoor Bowls: Tuesdays, 11 2–1 2 (Room DF3), $5/year plus $5/week
• Mitchie Day Club: Seniors group meeting Wednesdays 11 2–12:31 2 at 7th Day Adventist Church, includes lunch—$15
• RSL Golf Club: Meets twice monthly (contact: Tim Asher)
• War Widows group (Brisbane West) is also connected to the Sub?Branch support network.

• Sports Bar & Gaming: TAB, Keno, around-the-clock live sports screens, and gaming open until 1 2, closed only on Good Friday and Christmas Day.
