About Marcoola Surf Lifesaving Supporters Club Inc
Founded in 1969 (nipper club predated the senior club) and known as the “Marcoola Dolphins”—hence their dolphin emblem. The first clubhouse opened in 1970; expanded to a two-storey building in 1984, with further extensions over the years.
Active surf patrols occur September to May, staffed by around 180 active volunteer members.
The Supporters Club includes a beachfront bistro with ocean views, wide-reaching deck, kids’ play zone with gaming consoles, bar, UniTAB, gaming machines (about 36 pokies, Keno), and live sport screens.
Hosts live music Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The venue is popular for functions and events—weddings, birthdays, corporate events—equipped with air-conditioned function rooms, outdoor deck, two private bars, and oceanfront views.
