Main Beach

Main Beach is a beachside suburb of the Gold Coast, Queensland. It is located in the Southport area, between the Nerang River and the Pacific Ocean. The most popular landmarks in Main Beach are the Sea World theme park, the Marina Mirage shopping centre, and the Main Beach Surf Life Saving Club.

Main Beach does not have any casinos, however there are several RSL clubs, bowling clubs, sports bars and licenced pubs with poker machines, keno and TAB in the area. The total amount of pokies in Main Beach is limited by local regulations. The Southport RSL Club has over 50 poker machines, the Southport Bowls Club has over 20, and the Main Beach Tavern has over 30.
