Cooktown
Cooktown is a small town in Far North Queensland, Australia. It is located on the banks of the Endeavour River, about 880 km north of Brisbane. It is the northernmost town on the east coast of Australia. The town is known for its historical significance as the site of the first European settlement in Australia.

Cooktown is home to many historical landmarks, including the James Cook Museum, the Endeavour River Lookout, and the Grassy Hill Lighthouse. The town also has a number of parks and gardens, including the Botanic Gardens and the Lions Park.
