Origins as “The?Union”: The site originally featured a single-storey building known as The Union. In 1901, it was renamed the Post Office Hotel when licensed by John Johnson.
The hotel retains its two-storey, wrap?around veranda, timber façade, and traditional country-pub aesthetics.
