Babinda State Hotel
About Babinda State Hotel
The Babinda State Hotel is the only state-owned hotel in Queensland. Built in 1917 during prohibition, this quaint hotel has been the heart and soul of the Babinda community for more than 100 years.
With its heritage listed exterior and old world charm, the Babinda State Hotel has it all. A large public bar, gaming room, restaurant and dining room, coffee lounge, large function area, beautiful outdoor heritage-listed exterior, and old-world.
This two-story timber building showcases the architectural style of early 20th-century country hotels. The façade features open verandahs supported by timber posts, with a central gabled pediment marking the main entrance. The interior includes original elements such as silky oak archways and balustrades, reflecting the period's craftsmanship.
The gaming room has few pokies and bar games to play.
Sports bar is where you can watch live sports and bet at TAB or play Keno.
