About Beechmont Hotel
The Beechmont Hotel, originally established in 1884 by W.H. Turner, has a rich history in Queensland's Gold Coast hinterland.
Initially built to serve timber workers and bullock drivers in the Numinbah Valley, it was located at the intersection of Numinbah Road and a track from Beechmont known as the Black Shoot.
Over time, the hotel underwent several transformations and relocations, especially with the construction of the Hinze Dam in 1977, which submerged parts of the original Advancetown settlement.
In 2023, the Beechmont Hotel was revitalized, offering a country-inspired venue featuring live music, rodeos, and classic pub cuisine.
