Brooklyn is a suburb of Sydney, located in the local government area of Hornsby Shire. It is situated on the north shore of the Parramatta River, about 20 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district. The most important landmark in Brooklyn is the Brooklyn Bridge, which is a heritage-listed bridge that connects the suburb to the city.
