It is called as ‘The EVH’ by locals, located, only 100m from the East Balmain Ferry (or 2 minute's walk), are also only one ferry ride from Barangaroo!

Originally constructed as the Commercial Hotel in 1875 by Mr. Frederick Leach they were one of eight pubs originally servicing the East Balmain peninsula.

The bistro is led by Michelin-trained Head Chef Tristan Bertet, offers an elevated pub dining experience. Enjoy fresh and delicious dishes with a French flair, all served alongside pub classics such as Fish & Chips and Chicken Parmy.

The bar has 13 taps featuring a changing list of craft beers and mainstream faithful. Boutique brews and seasonal cocktails. Also offer a carefully developed wine list including some of Australia’s most exciting boutique winemakers and well known vino crowd pleasers, provide at a range of price points.

The East Village Hotel features a well stocked Bottle shop, stock a great range of local and imported wines, along with some great craft beers and spirits.

Other fun activities are held round the clock such as Melbourne Cup garden party.
