Located on the main street of Pinjarra and overlooking the Murray River, the historic Exchange Hotel awaits you.
Originally constructed as a residence for Dr Thomas Forrester Bedingfield, the building transitioned into a hotel in 1871 under the ownership of James Rummer Greenacre. The name "Exchange Hotel" originated from a property swap between Dr. Bedingfeld and Mr. Greenacre.
After ceasing operations in 2008, the Shire of Murray acquired the property in 2012, recognizing its heritage significance. Following extensive renovations, the hotel reopened in September 2024, blending its historical architecture with modern amenities.
The hotel offers a variety of dining options, including pub classics, burgers, pizzas, and daily specials. There are three bars, each providing a unique atmosphere for guests.
With exclusive bookable areas and a large-scale function area, the venue is suitable for events and gatherings.
A notable addition is the on-site gin distillery, complete with a private tasting room for enthusiasts.
The expansive beer garden overlooks the Murray River and the Pinjarra Suspension Bridge, offering a scenic spot for relaxation.
