Ormeau is a suburb of the City of Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. It is located in the northern part of the city, about 25 km south of Brisbane. The most important landmark in Ormeau is the Ormeau Hills State School, which was established in 1876. There are no casinos in the area, but there are several RSL clubs, Legions Club, bowling clubs, sports bars and licenced pubs with poker machines, keno and TAB.
