Tumut is a town in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. It is situated on the banks of the Tumut River. The most important landmark in the town is the Tumut River, which is a popular spot for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. There are no casinos in the town, but there are several RSL clubs, Legions Club, Bowling Club, Sports Bars and Licenced pubs with poker machines, keno and tab. The total amount of pokies in the town is limited by local regulations. The RSL Club has 10 poker machines, the Bowling Club has 8, and the Licenced Pub has 15.
