Arcade games are my favourite type of game. I can play them both at pubs and local clubs. These games are like any other video games, and they are coin-operated machines found in land-based venues.
If you remember, many of you must know that games like Pinball and other electromechanical games of that kind were very popular in the 80s.
Lately, as other games became dominant in the gaming industry, such as pokies games and now VR consoles and PC games, arcade games have been played less at online casinos.

Types of Arcade Games
There are many types, commonly being:
- Action games
- Fighting
- Puzzle
- Racing
- Sports
- Simulators
Arcade racing games have a simplified physics engine and require less learning time compared to racing simulators.
Cars can turn sharply without braking or understeer, and the AI rivals are sometimes programmed so they are always near the player.
Arcade flight games also use simplified physics and controls compared to flight simulators. These are meant to have an easy learning curve and preserve their action component.
Increasing numbers of console flight video games, from Crimson Skies to Ace Combat and Secret Weapons Over Normandy, indicate the falling of manual-heavy flight sim popularity in favour of instant arcade flight action.
Other arcade-style games include fighting games, beat-'em-up games, light gun rail shooters, and "bullet hell" shooters, as well as music games and mobile or casual games, which often feature intuitive controls and are usually played in short sessions.
