Border Inn Hotel
About Border Inn Hotel
The Border Inn Hotel, located at 65 Wallace Street, Apsley, Victoria, is a historic establishment that has been a cornerstone of the community since its original construction in 1850. After a fire in 1887, the hotel was rebuilt and now features an Art Deco facade at the corner of Wallace and Splatt Streets.
The hotel offers lunch and dinner services with a daily specials board. Guests can enjoy meals in the dining room, opt for bar meals, or choose takeaways and ready-to-go snacks. Coffees, cakes, ice creams, and a selection of grocery items are also available throughout the day.
The bar serves several beers on tap and sources wines primarily from the Coonawarra and Wrattonbully regions.
The Border Inn provides various lodging options, including in-house rooms and external budget-friendly bungalows. All accommodations come with provided linens, towels, and complimentary light breakfast provisions. Additionally, the hotel offers free camping facilities at the rear for self-contained travelers.
You can relax in the courtyard garden, which features a children's playhouse, making it a family-friendly environment. During winter, warm log fires in the parlour and bar areas create a cozy atmosphere.
